As part of our family, we want to bring you the best in everything we do and make sure you are well taken care of. It’s about personal attention.

If you need help taking your cupcake boxes to your car, we will be happy to help. We know it’s difficult to get the kids out & back in the car seats so if you call us when you’re close, we’ll be happy to run your order out to you. If you’re just not sure which flavor you want, we’ll happily let you taste some frostings so you can decide a little easier!  It's about personal attention.

We are the owners of Yummy Cupcakes: Tiffini Soforenko, Brogan Faye and Nik Soforenko. And, yes, we are family. After many years of corporate life for each of us, we decided to take “the leap”. We think our skills and experience, our strong integrity and work ethic, our passion for making people feel special and our sincere love for baking make a winning combination.

We first rented space in a commercial kitchen and created our unique and delicious recipes.  (Of course we got a lot of recipes from Grandma!)   For one year we baked for special events only and had many clients asking if we had an “everyday” location to go to. So on December 15, 2005, we opened Yummy Cupcakes’ first retail store at 2918 W. Magnolia Blvd in Burbank, California.  On March 19, 2007, we opened our second retail store at 313 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, California. 

We have now extended our family to include Pastry Chefs, graduates of the Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu, Team Leaders and Guest Service staff that share our values, beliefs and work ethic. In case you are wondering how we got the name “Yummy Cupcakes” . . . it came from our 5 year old Logan (that's Logan in the picture) who, while we were perfecting recipes, was constantly asking for more "yummy cupcakes?”

We care a great deal about quality at Yummy Cupcakes! We use quality ingredients like Madagascar and Tahitian Bourbon vanillas, Callebaut chocolates, pure unsalted butter, ranch delivered fresh eggs, whole milk, buttermilk, pure cane sugars, spices, fresh fruits, juices and zests. We do not use lards, trans fatty oils or preservatives. We care about the quality of what we serve you. In fact, you will often see us eating our cupcakes and sampling frostings. While it’s a great perk, we all do this to make sure what we are serving is exactly what it should be! We think you will taste the quality. These cupcakes are the real deal!
